He has served as a pastor in the Louisiana Conference for 41 years. During his ministry he has chaired the Louisiana Conference Council on Finance and Administration, the Conference Board of Pensions, the Conference Board of Trustees, and served as President of the United Methodist Foundation of Louisiana. He is in his fifth year as Associate Pastor at FUMC. He is married and has two children, Gavin and Garrett. He is married and has one daughter. His hobbies include painting, working in his yard and reading. Kem has served on the LA Conference Board of Ordained Ministry, Division of Deacons, the LA Conference Agenda Committee and he is chair for the LA Conference Worship Committee. She has been married for forty years, has one son, one daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren. She is also a member of our Chancel Choir, as well as assisting with the children’s choir and hand chime choir. She enjoys scrapbooking and most of all, being a grandmother. He is a native of Texas and a graduate of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Kyle has been working with youth for the last 12 years and enjoys music, sports, video games and movies. In addition to directing our Children’s Ministries, Denise taught and directed our Preschool. Denise is married and has two sons. She loves to garden, cook and scrapbook. She is a trained Stephen Ministry Leader, Hospice Compassus volunteer, and serves on the Louisiana Chapter of the Feist-Weiller Head and Neck Cancer Alliance, Louisiana State Parks and Recreation Commission, and the national board for the General Federation of Woman's Clubs. Eva Colvin serves First United Methodist as Director of Adult Ministries. Eva retired from the Ouachita Parish School system and immediately began working at FUMC. She is married and has two children and four grandchildren. She enjoys being a grandmother, playing bridge, and keeping up with her antiques booth on Antique Alley.

Evelyn Fuller joined First United Methodist Church in 1960 and has been on staff as Activities Director since 1998. She oversees the housekeeping staff, plans weekly suppers, works closely with the Executive Secretary in scheduling church meetings and assists other staff members when needed. She is married, and collectively she and her husband have five children, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Sue Anderson has been the director of the FUMC Day Care since opening in August 2002. She is married and has two children, all of whom are active at Cheniere Baptist Church in West Monroe. She plays music with the Monroe Symphony Orchestra as well as with our choir on holidays and special occasions. She enjoys singing with her family, attending her children’s softball games, piano recitals, and church related activities.

Anna has been an active member of FUMC since 1988. Anna is married and has two sons. She loves to read and spend time with her family and friends.
