NEW • FOR EVERYTHING THERE IS A SEASON: A STUDY ON ECCLESIASTES - Lead by Pastor Lynn. Held in the Fellowship Hall.
• MEN’S GROUP - Men of all ages are invited to come grow in your faith with us. Held in Rm. 12 (Generation Hope Classroom).
• WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY - Facilitated by Megan McClanahan and held in the Garden Room, will be studying One in a Million: Journey to Your Promised Land by Priscilla Shirer. Come experience your deliverance from strongholds and claim your God–Given inheritance.
• RISE LIFE (7TH - 12TH GRADE) - Held in the Youth Room.
• KID’S KINGDOM (K - 6TH GRADE) - Meet in the k2 room before dividing into groups for hands on Bible learning through games, stories, crafts, and activities.
• NURSERY - Provided for all ages 6 weeks to 4 years. 3 and 4 year olds participate in their own Bible lesson and activities. All nursery children meet in the 3 year old classroom.
THANK YOU to all of our volunteers for the Easter Egg Hunt. We were able to show God’s love to 2000 people at this year’s Easter Eggstravaganza.
THE ST. JUDE TRIKE-A-THON, sponsored by FUMC Preschool, is on Friday, April 21. We have set a goal of $10,000 to raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where no family ever receives a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food. If you are interested in supporting this worthy cause, please stop by the church office and make a donation.
CONFIRMATION is next Sunday, April 23. The confirmation service will be during 10:50 a.m. worship. A reception will be from 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. in the parlor. Please come by and meet our confirmands.
BOOK NOOK has been rescheduled for Sunday, April 23 at 4:00 p.m. in the library to read Waiting for the Rain by South African author Sheila Gordon. The book is available from Nancy Meinel in the Aldersgate classroom.

GRIEF AND OUR FAITH will be a special Sunday morning study during the month of May. Lead by Marc Thomas at 9:30 a.m. in the Garden room. You are invited to join this study designed to help you understand your faith in times of grief. Contact the church office if interested.
NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER - PRAYER BREAKFAST will be held at the Monroe Civic Center on Thursday, May 4 at 6:30 a.m. This year’s speaker is Broderick Fobbs, head football coach for Grambling State University. Tickets are $10 and available in the church office.
SAFE SANCTUARY TRAINING for all volunteers with children and youth on Sunday, May 7 in the K2 room at 10:30 a.m. or noon.
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY is rebuilding homes affected by the flood, and they need your help! Thursday, May 11 is part of their Women’s Build Week, where men and women serve together in our community. Volunteers are needed that day from 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Meet at church at 8:00 a.m., wear work clothes and closed toed shoes, and ride with us in the church van to the work site. NEW CHILDREN’S CHECK-IN SYSTEM for our children's Sunday morning and After Hours Wednesday activities! This check-in system is to create greater security and comfort for our parents while children are in our care. This is for all children infants through 6th graders. Sunday school check-in begins at 9:15 a.m. and After Hours check-in begins at 5:45 p.m.
